Türkiye and MAKTEK Eurasia: The New Destination for Global Players
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has once again solidified its position as a premier assembly point for the Turkish industry, having received formal recognition as a “Prestigious Fair” by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye. This endorsement underscores that MAKTEK Eurasia functions not only as a commercial platform but also as a credible, reputable, and strategically significant industrial exhibition on both national and international levels.
Organized by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association (TIAD) and supported by the Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association (MIB), the 9th Edition of the International MAKTEK Eurasia Fair will take place between September 28 and October 3, 2026, at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center. MAKTEK Eurasia, recognized as one of Türkiye’s premier events featuring high-value-added offerings in the domain of machine tools and production technologies, and awarded Prestigious Fair status, underscores that the exhibition is a robust and sustainable organization operating at international standards for both exhibitors and visitors. The endorsement from the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye enhances MAKTEK Eurasia’s privileged position within the industry, while bolstering its brand value and global reputation. MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 will continue to serve as the principal platform for showcasing the prestige of the Turkish machinery industry on the world stage.
MAKTEK Eurasia Joins the Ranks of Prestigious Fairs
The inclusion of the fair among the list of exhibitions endorsed by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye presents a substantial opportunity for participating companies. Under the framework of this support, eligible companies may receive subsidies for participation expenses, including floor space (per square meter), stand construction, and space rental, covering up to 50% of the total incurred costs.
Entities operating within Türkiye that comply with the Ministry regulations and have finalized their payments following the execution of the fair participation contract are eligible to benefit from this support program. The support package encompasses floor space rental, as well as expenses related to construction and decoration. Applications may be submitted via the Support Management System (DYS) no later than three months following the conclusion of the event. It is important to note that the process is managed directly through the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (OAIB), rather than by the event organizer, Tüyap.
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026: Setting Records Ahead of Its Opening
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 distinctly illustrates its sector-specific strength and scale, even during the preliminary phases of its organizational process. Within the initial 45-day early-bird sales period, booth bookings reached an occupancy rate surpassing 70% of the total exhibition area.
This impressive performance underscores both the high retention rate of exhibitors and the growing interest from new companies. Current demand levels suggest that the exhibition will span all 14 exhibition halls entirely.
Currently, there are 44 international and 171 domestic firms on the waiting list, prompting the organizing committee to address demands for over 10,000 square meters of additional exhibition space. These statistics serve as empirical evidence reinforcing MAKTEK Eurasia’s assertion of being the foremost gathering for production technologies gathering, not only within Türkiye but throughout the entire Eurasian region.
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is poised to advance beyond its role as an event that reflects the current trends within the industry, positioning itself as a pivotal influence in shaping the future trajectory of the sector.
Focus Country Initiatives and International Partnerships
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 transcends the scope of a conventional technology exhibition, focusing on the fortification of international commercial corridors. In alignment with this vision, the event will introduce an innovative “Guest of Honor Country” model, making a new chapter in global industrial collaboration.
Under this strategic framework, a specific nation will be designated a strategic partner each year, featuring exclusive networking events, sectoral engagement programs, and high-level diplomatic participation. Negotiations are currently underway with a prominent European-based industrial ecosystem to serve as the inaugural Guest of Honor, with further strategic details to be disclosed in the upcoming period.
Future-Oriented Engagement Zones
The exhibition will feature dedicated experiential and content zones designed to host as a nexus where emerging talents showcase innovative projects, industry leaders exchange invaluable insights, and the future trajectory of production technologies is debated. By integrating education, innovation, and professional networking, these zones will underscore the visionary character of the exhibition.
The Countdown to the Industry’s Premier Convergence
Organized in cooperation with TIAD and supported by MIB, the 9th International MAKTEK Eurasia Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technologies Fair is set to take place at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul. The event will be open to attendees from 10:00 to 19:00 from September 28 to October 2, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on October 3. With an anticipated attendance of over 70,000 visitors, this significant event is poised to further solidify its position as the most critical convergence point for the global industry within Türkiye.
“90 minutes with...” at 35.bi-mu the two forums on aerospace & defense and energy
35.BI-MU – the leading Italian event dedicated to the industry manufacturing metal-cutting and metal-forming machine tools, robots, automation, digital and additive manufacturing, auxiliary and enabling technologies – will, as per tradition, combine the exhibition offering with a program of meetings and thematic insights aimed at operators attending the fair, hosted on October 14th and 15th in the BI-MUpiù arena . Throughout the exhibition, from 13 to 16 October at Fieramilano Rho , the pavilions will host one-on-one discussions, performances, cultural insights and conferences dedicated to the sector. The heart of this program will be the BI-MUpiù events arena (Hall 24, Stand C47), which this year, among other initiatives – curated by the organizers and exhibitors – will host two thematic forums dedicated to some of the most dynamic sectors in terms of investment and innovation: Aerospace & Defense and Energy , scheduled for Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 October respectively. Thanks to these Forums, BI-MU will broaden its horizons and will be able to offer operators present at the fair, through the direct voice of some production operations directors of leading companies in these sectors, a timely discussion on the technologies needed today and for the future: the most interesting business opportunities for exhibitors . The events will feature discussions between representatives of some of the leading large, medium, and small businesses, covering the broad spectrum of companies in the key sectors involved. “90 minutes with the world of Aerospace & Defense” is the title of the first Forum scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. Speakers at the meeting will include Carlo Fenoglio , Executive Manufacturing Engineer Management at Avio Aero; Tiziano Pegorin , Director of the Turin plant at Thales Alenia Space; Carmine Schips , General Manager of OMA; Valentina Pedretti , Member of the Board of Directors of PMP; and Luca Carafa , General Manager of CARAFA. The second Forum, entitled “90 minutes with the world of Energy” , scheduled for Thursday 15 October at 10.00 am, will bring together Valerio Maffi , General Manager of Cavagna Group, Manuel Cortinovis , CEO of GFM, Alessandro Montagner , Commercial Director of BFR Meccanica, and Osvaldo Finazzi , President of Osvaldo Finazzi. The challenges facing the current era, the main production process needs of companies operating in these sectors, and the specific demands placed on production technology suppliers are some of the questions the guests at the two round tables will address. Participation in both Forums is free for all event visitors . The meetings will also be livestreamed on bimu.it.
