The machine was returned to the G & L manufacturing facility in 2003/2004 where the following work was carried out:-
· Machine refurbishment
· Adaption of A & B axis Eimeldingen Tables.
· Upgrade Control to 8000 B
· Upgrade Siemens CNC package, including new motors, drives, contactors, electric wiring, high performance hardware
· Thru spindle flood coolant
· Collet type drawbar
· Ansi – BS 50 spindle
· Steady 3 point capacity 24”
· Adaption of Tool changer 60 positions
Machine height: - Floor mounted 5180 mm, Set in foundation 4800 mm
This machine is located in Scotland and can be inspected under power by appointment with the Auctioneers Office.
